This is an opportunity to work around animals every day and join a friendly community of people dedicated to providing a high standard of care for our herd. Primary Responsibilities: - Feeding horses - Cleaning stalls, paddocks, and pastures - Some lifting of heavy objects, use of power tools, and driving motor vehicles - Basic horse handling - Other barn maintenance, as needed Weekly hours and schedule are flexible, with a minimum of 16 hours per week. Compensation is based on experience. ​Qualifications: ​ - Dependable and hard working - Friendly, flexible attitude - Experience in physical jobs and able to complete a rigorous daily routine (including lifting full buckets, wheelbarrows, etc.) - Available to work a full-day Sunday shift - Experience leading and handling horses on the ground (preferred) Must be 18 years or older to apply Benefits: - Competitive paid time off - Weekly riding or groundwork lesson (optional)
