What is Chocolate Panning? Chocolate panning is the continuous application of chocolate coating to centers that are tumbled in a large drum. Foods panned in chocolate typically include nuts, dried fruits and candies. Job Summary Our company is fast growing multi customer facility. We are currently seeking Chocolate Panning Operators to help us produce AWESOME chocolate panning products. The ideal candidates need to be able to work in a fast paced environment, have good math and excellent communication skills, able to work in a cooler environment, able to multi-task, prioritize and manage time efficiently, able to lift 50 lbs., bend, twist and lift on a regular basis. Duties and Responsibilities -Responsible for daily hands of production of chocolate and confection products. Panning, coating, loading and unloading tank, trays and tubs. - Responsible for completing daily production reports, quality control documentation and overseeing manufacture inventory. - A proven mechanical aptitude for making precise adjustments on production machinery to ensure proper operation is preferred. - Responsible for overseeing the non-conforming product program for the facility. - Perform daily cleaning duties at the end of shift. - Report final weight of daily production to the manager in charge at the end of shift. - Ensuring clean and safe work environment at all time. - Other duties as assigned. Requirements and Qualifications: - Good math skills are required for accurate compiling and reporting of data. - The ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities is required. - Good problem solving skill is required. - Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently. - Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. - The ability and desire to positively contribute to a team-oriented environment is essential. - Ability to adapt/respond to different types of individuals. - Must be able to withstand high noise levels (hearing protection is required and is provided). - Other physical requirements include frequent bending, twisting, walking, repetitive wrist movement, standing for a full shift, and working in temperatures of 55-60 degrees. - Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.) This is a safety sensitive position, subject to initial and follow-up drug testing. Job Type: Full-time Salary: Starting at $16.00 - $18.00/hour, job performance review after 90 days.
