Pastor's Lunch to aid in recruitment of new potential foster families in Talladega County Please join Lifeline Children's Services and Talladega County DHR for a free Pastor's Lunch! Beginning June 10, Lifeline will be leading a new TIPS class for new potential foster families in Talladega County. This lunch is designed to equip you, pastor, in helping to recruit new families to complete these classes for kids in our county. James 1:27 is clear that we are to care for vulnerable children in our community, and around the world. Kids in foster care are among the most vulnerable. Our county currently has a deficit of available homes for our community's children to be able to stay here, locally. When this happens, kids can be sent to other counties, facilities, or even another state for temporary housing. Our goal is to train mission-minded, Christian families in our community to be able to temporarily open their homes and hearts to local children, and share the love of Jesus with them as their parents work towards reconciliation.
