Feeling extremely disappointed and let down

Nothing matters anymore. I let my expectations get set too high and unrealistic. I disappointed myself expecting too much or expecting something different to happen. It's unreal when so many people are involved and nothing ever comes from it from those who do. I guess I clearly need to lower my expectations of people and of myself
