Description
Hello,
I have a three year old golden retriever, and I want to find him a great forever home. I'm from Kansas City, but had to unexpectedly relocate to Chicago for a job. I had a nice house with a big yard, but now I'm in a high-rise apartment in the city. Obviously, this is not the best situation for a golden retriever. It pains me to think about giving him up, but I want what's best for him. That being said, I'm going to be very selective about what kind of home I want him to have because I have plenty of time to find him the perfect home. He deserves that.
About Cooper - He is a 3 year old Golden Retriever that's current on all his shots. He's also neutered and house broken. He's the typical golden retriever that loves unconditionally and he's very loyal. He's in good health, but has typical golden retriever problems like allergies and the occasional ear infection. He's absolutely adorable and has a very playful and cuddly personality.
About you - Ideally, I want him to have a dog playmate and preferably another Golden or at least a family that has experience with Goldens. You must also have a house with a fenced yard (no exceptions). Also, I will have to be able to verify you are who you say you are through social media and you must be willing to allow me to drop him off to see where he will live and meet you. I'm also requiring a $300.00 rehoming fee to avoid people that are not serious about adopting a dog. He is my best friend and it's incredibly painful to give him up. I have to know he's going to be a great home. I would also prefer an open adoption. By open, I mean updating me every so often with pictures and maybe the rare visit. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
