Whalebird Kombucha is a fast growing small business in the SLO community looking to hire on a full-time, mechanically inclined person to handle day to day maintenance, repair broken machinery, and take on special projects to assist in the growth of the brewery. About 25% of the work would be attributed to routine maintenance, 25% to unexpected repairs, and 50% to special projects around the brewery. You will be working under a qualified supervisor, so full knowledge of equipment is not a prerequisite. Eagerness and ability to learn quickly will go a long way in the role. Flexibility to take on many different tasks as they present themselves is an absolute must. Requirements Must be mechanically inclined Basic Woodworking Skills Additional Desirable Skills Lighting/Electrical knowledge Plumbing Basic Computer Skills Great taste in Music and a love for Kombucha!
