So when you accept these jobs know your salary and expected mileage for you to drive. Don't be fooled by them combining the mileage and salary in one hourly amount. It may not be worth the money in hand because the liability is placed on you and more than likely they will not pay for vehicle repairs when your car breaks down. Open up the owners manual to your vehicle and know the costs associated to owning your vehicle (oil change, transmission fluid change, coolant fluid changed, alignment, cost of new tires, cost of getting brakes and rotors installed, spark plugs, head gasket, new transmission, new engine, new shocks and struts, new starter, new alternator, water pump, belts...etc). These are expenses businesses are avoiding to pay to make greater profits and make you feel something greater is being offered when they are profiting GREATLY from you.... meaning you are paying them to make it feel like you are working and accepting FULL liability. This may not always be the case but also know that you have something to offer as well. Protect yourself and your wallet and do your due diligence before accepting these jobs.
