I am rehoming my beautiful & sweet ball python, information below: NAME: Louie SEX: male DOB: 2-20-2019 AGE: 2 years, 2 months DIET: frozen thawed rats MORPHOLOGY: Pastel Coral Glow/Banana 66% Het Pied Ball Python BREEDER: Vivid Pythons (New York, NY) REHOMING FEE: $200 It breaks my heart to rehome him, as he is so wonderful in every way, but he is not thriving with me & I want him to live the longest & healthiest life possible. He is so docile & would make an amazing family pet as he has never hissed or struck at anyone. I say he is not thriving with me, as I have noticed a tremendous change in his behaviors over the last year following too many life changes, including moving into a new house & adding another dog to the family. He has stopped eating, shedding, pooping & making appearances; I do not see him ever unless I am checking in on him to give him fresh water & clean his cage. I could go into further detail on this, but I have already discussed everything with his vet (Dr. Dill – Animal Health Clinic). Louie had an appt. just 3 months ago out of my growing concern for his health. He had a complete full body exam plus bloodwork done. He is 100% healthy, has no infections, mites, etc. & does not have any stool blockage regardless of not pooping in a long while. The vet chalked up his behavioral changes to all of the environmental changes we have went through with him in the last year (yay Covid) + the winter season which can cause changes in behavior as well. Anyhow, I only want the absolute best for Louie. I would love to rehome him to a hobbyist with plenty of EXPERIENCE in ball python care. Any potential adoptees will need to provide proof that they are knowledgeable & have ability to care for him.
