The Alaska Laborers Apprenticeship Program is now accepting applications! Starting wage is $19.03/hr, BUT - you must meet the following minimum requirements to apply: - 18 years old - Be an AK resident (for the last 12 months) - Have a Valid AK Driver license - Must have a HSD or GED - Physically Able to perform all duties of a Construction Craft Laborer - Must have own Transportation. - Must have Driven Work Ethic and Dedication! This is a 5100 hour, 100% drug-free, career building apprenticeship program. It is an excellent opportunity to "Earn while you learn". We like to think of it as "Construction College". That means no student loans to pay back, excellent wages and benefits at the start and a stable career path with a pension.
