I am looking for a forever home for my parakeets and cockatiel. They live together in one large flight cage. It is really difficult for me to rehome them but I am moving out of state in the coming months and I can not bring them with. I want them to all stay together. Clementine is the cockatiel. She is a female and was born on Halloween of last year. She is 1.5 years old. She loves to chat with you but can be fearful of new people. She would come to love someone patient and willing to bond on her time frame. She knows step up but only does the command when she’s out of her cage and getting her out of her cage is difficult. Melody is the little blue bird, and Merlin is the teal and yellow. They are bonded and have been for two years since I first got them. No babies yet. I’ve tried to keep the cage free of nesting places to discourage them but there is no guarantee that they wouldn’t breed in the future. Despite this I want them to stay together - that means you would need to take the precautionary steps to avoid them from breeding and/or be open and willing to take on the task of raising and rehoming baby parakeets. Merlin loves to fly around outside of the cage and explore but Melody stays inside. She loves to take baths and they all love millet. They sing in the morning and take a nap at noon. I buy their toys from planet pleasures and other pet stores & they would come with everything I currently have for them - toys, food, perches and all. I am asking $300 for them, their cage & supplies. Please tell me about yourself and the home you would provide for them. I’m not moving for a few months and I want to find them the best home.
