Hey everybody, we're on the look out for a new singer for The Flame and the Void If you’re a singer, looking for a rock/metal band to join, hit us up, and pass it on to your friends. For those of you unfamiliar with us, we’re a hard rock/metal band from the Madison area that’s been playing for close to three years. We’ve played shows at most of the venues around town, and a few outside of the greater Madison area. In our three years together we’ve put out an EP with 6 original songs, and played 30ish shows before the pandemic shut everything down. And along with the 6 songs on our EP, we also have another four or five songs that are at this point waiting for us to find a vocalist to help us finish. Musically we’re somewhere between hard rock, and metal, and we’re looking for someone to come in, able to sing well, be able to write lyrics, and in general be an all-around fun person to hang out with. While it won’t be required, if you have any additional skills either in playing an instrument, marketing, graphic design, or anything else that lends well to playing in, and promoting a band that’s certainly a plus. Additionally, while our last singer was female, we’re looking for the best singer we can find, the only real restriction we’ve got is that you’ll be over the age of 21 so you can get into bars when venues start reopening around Madison, and it’s safe for us to play again.
