Rapidly expanding opportunities to serve the lighting needs of our retail and commercial customers nationwide. We are in need of experienced and knowledgeable Lighting Technicians and Electrical Installers for projects and service across the country. Job responsibilities include: • Installing, replacing, and retrofitting lighting fixtures and systems in commercial and industrial facilities. • Installing lighting controls. • Servicing, troubleshooting and repair of lighting and controls. • Maintaining a high level of safety and cleanliness on job sites. • Working with other team members to complete jobs on time. • Traveling, as needed, throughout the U.S. • Communicating daily to project managers/supervisors. The right person for the job will meet the following qualifications: • 2 years work experience in Electrical, Lighting, or Construction • High school diploma or equivalent • Clean and valid driver’s license • Certifications for operation of scissor lifts, boom lifts and forklifts. (Employer training available). Applicants must have general electrical understanding to complete interior and exterior lighting service, lighting retrofit, smart thermostat install, and new lighting and controls installation. Experience in a similar role for either an electrical contractor or service/lighting company is a plus. HVAC experience and low-voltage experience also a plus. Most of the work requires ladder, scaffolding, or lift usage. Teamwork is essential for success; therefore, the right applicant must work well with others. Must be able to work all shifts. Must be available for travel. Must be able to work from our base in Akron, Ohio. Hourly wage based on experience.
