Description
Sabrina's Family Day Care will have 3 openings available for children OVER 2yrs old. we are accepting applications for our waiting list NOW, spots will be available the end of August. I have 26 years of experience in the childcare industry and I meet all state requirements and qualifications. I hold a non-expiring director’s certificate with the state of Texas. I am licensed and inspected yearly by the state of Texas dept of health and human services. Last year I attained a 4-star rating in the Texas Rising Star program offered through the Texas workforce commission. In December of 2020 I also obtained my CDA. Both prove I go above and beyond the required minimum standards. All state inspection paperwork is located on the bulletin board and training certificates are available for view. to learn more about Texas Rising Stars visit www.texasrisingstar.org You can also visit our facebook page at www.facebook.com/changingtheworldonechildatatime Our daily program is arranged to provide a healthy balance for your child: active and quiet time, small and large muscle activities, small and large group activities, indoor and outdoor play, child directed, and teacher directed activities, along with opportunities for solitary play. As stated in our philosophy, we believe that children learn through play. Therefore, periods of “free play” are allotted throughout the day, during this time children can choose the activity in which they want to participate. Caregivers will interact with the children during this time but not select their activities. The children can choose from several centers some of which include block play, dramatic play, housekeeping, music, library, art and fine motor activities. In addition, caregivers plan special activities in which children can choose to participate. Please note that no child is forced to participate. Opportunities are presented to the children and we do our best to encourage every child to participate, but the decision is ultimately up to the child.
