We have an immediate opening for a warehouse manager in North Central Austin. This position is full-time onsite position. Overview: To organize and coordinate the day-to-day mechanics of warehouse operations and product inventory in order to ensure the orderly and efficient processing of installation projects, inside product sales & shipping Key Responsibilities: • Working with Microsoft Excel • Maintain material receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by coordinating and enforcing operational procedures. • Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols. • Maintain inventory management program and control inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with the Office manager and Service manager. Communicate special products levels and needs to the Office Manager and follow up to ensure procurement. • Monitor material pricing to reduce project direct costs. Negotiate better pricing from suppliers. • Organize, inventory, maintain, and distribute tools for field crews. Maintain a daily inventory to determine what is missing or broken and report to Construction Manager. • Maintain a clean warehouse. • Create and maintain pre-packaged system components. • Track all product materials leaving, entering or returning to the warehouse to include but not limited to: individual job materials, bulk deliveries, materials returning from site to the shop etc • Enforce company warehouse management policies through disciplinary action to include oral and written warnings. • Participate in the training and orientation of new employees regarding warehouse management. • Participate in system installations as needed. • Hot shot materials, tools, and rental equipment to individual job sites as needed • Supervise fleet management to include scheduled service, maintenance, and cleaning. Monitor, track and file vehicle service paperwork and ensure daily service is maintained. Stop vehicle from leaving the premises and inform superiors immediately if the vehicle is deemed not safe to drive. • Manage relationships and price negotiations with vendors and suppliers Must have a Valid DL and Clean Driving Record. Must be Comfortable Driving a Truck and Pulling a Trailer Compensation: This position is 7-4 Monday-Friday, paid vacation after 1 year of service, a positive and casual work environment and starting base hourly pay with long-term room for growth of $17-$21 DOE. This position also works with a wonderful team of professionals in a family style environment.
