This Chihuahua puppy named Jack is simply the most adorable guy ever. But he has quite a few quirks leading us to rehome him. Actually, we are hoping to make sure you are the right family for Jack. We want to meet you twice in a public place to discuss Jack’s qualities in depth and to understand that you’re willing to take on this project dog. We also require one personal reference (family is ok), vet reference, and a visit to your home. He is neutered chipped and up to date on shots. He is almost 2. the medical records will be provided to you. Rehoming fee $300. Jack’s original owners were not truthful to us about his behaviors. We want to be honest with you so that you know how to live with Jack. Jack has clearly never been socialized, even for a Chihuahua… He hates all people and often will defecate uncontrollably when faced with a stranger. This includes any person you wish to bring into your home that isn’t his primary caretakers. After three training sessions with a professional trainer he was unable to still maintain any sense of composure, continuously barking at the trainer and not coming near her. You must understand when taking Jack that you will be his 100% person, And that there is a solid chance he will never learn how to be near anyone besides you. Otherwise he is quite Smart and picked up on several tricks including wait, sit, and fetch. Jack is not good with our cat and this is one of the main reasons we are giving him up. He acts over interested… And this has been almost a year. Jack is somewhat ok with other dogs but your existing dog should be well trained, responsive, and patient when Jack acts over interested in the other dog. I hope it’s clear that we have tried to make the best home for Jack, but it’s not simply possible with us. He probably would do best in an only dog household with no children and an individual or a couple that could love him very much. Send me an email if you are interested in meeting Jack.
