SUMMARY: Performing an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming materials from vendors, picking up materials and delivering to job sites or back to the warehouse from various locations, packing and fulfilling work orders for installers to pick up. Loading and unloading materials with installers and assisting with physical inventory counts. Assisting Field Mangers with Slab Checks and Quality Control walks. House clean outs, grout touch up and other services as needed. POSITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist with slab checks and Quality Control walks. Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise. Load and deliver merchandise to job sites. Accurately records physical inventory counts at a minimum of once per month. Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat and clean. Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards. Wear the proper safety equipment Requirements COMPETENCIES, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Basic knowledge of the installation process in residential and multi-family settings for all products Excellent communication skills Proficiency in counting materials. Ability to lift materials up to 50 LBs. Good organizational and time management skills. Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods. Ability to distribute correct paperwork and collect signed documents for inventory control. Familiarity with local vendors and their products Basic knowledge and understanding of the use of different tools and products used for installation Ability to communicate effectively and in an appropriate manner in writing and verbally Strong organizational and prioritization skills Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access) Positive and friendly attitude Professional appearance Current valid driver’s license DIRECT REPORTS None REPORTS TO: Area Manager EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE High School Diploma Valid Driver’s License Current Forklift License LANGUAGE SKILLS Bilingual (English / Spanish), is a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS None required PHYSICAL DEMANDS The position involves work at an office and a construction site where duties will be performed both indoors and outdoors. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk and hear. The employee may be required to sit and regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. This employee may also be exposed to outside weather conditions, such as cold and hot climate. The employee may be exposed to a noisy work environment. WORK SCHEDULE Monday-Friday – 7:00 am to 4:00 pm TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS The employee will be required to travel to multiple project sites as often as needed
