rehoming my hedgehog! rehoming because my new place sadly doesn't allow pets. she is a cutie and really a weird little creature. specs: shy and nocturnal, loves to run on her saucer wheel, interested in pant legs on the floor, likes kale and mealworms, needs a quiet space during the day, is afraid of most things (noises!) but will begin to recognize your voice and smell if you engage her enough (hedgies are nearly blind!) ** not a great pet for small kids who want to snuggle/ hold animals, she is not cuddly! perfect for people with looking for a low-maintenance cutie to watch and let sniff around your kitchen while you're cooking (loves to explore). Maintenance- daily: 1 small bowl of food at 7 pm, clean wheel. sometimes she likes to hang out but i’ll usually let her run around outside the cage 2-3 times a week, in a hedgie proofed room (no small spaces to get stuck, no big animals, no small plastics to eat). weekly: cage cleaning/ washout, water refill, laundry for blankets, replace bedding. every other week or as needed: bath with toothbrush, lukewarm water in bathroom sink, and a tiny bit of baby soap. also clipping nails but be careful, can easily snag skin. comes with all her supplies, house, and food! asking for a $125 (cash or venmo) rehoming fee to cover supplies and so i know you’re serious :) if interested, text SCOUT at (2zero8)- eight7zero- 2three7two
