Position Title: Low-Slope Repair Technician- Denver, CO Department: Production Manager: Production Manager POSITION SUMMARY: This position is primarily responsible for completing internal work orders and repairs for new and existing clients on a variety of roofing systems. Must have proven experience with flat roof and single-ply roofing systems, steep slope systems, tile, metal, etc. Must be able to work unsupervised and be able to provide well documented reports of work completed. Must represent the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times. Position Operates primarily out of Denver and the surrounding areas. Candidate must should be local or willing to travel to the area with frequency. This position provides support for Production Department and the company on a whole by executing the following duties: QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 1-3 years’ experience in commercial roofing industry 1-2 years’ experience in service department is an asset Experienced with TPO, PVC, EPDM, flashing, and metal roofs is an asset Ability to safely work at heights Flexible - must be willing to be on a on call rotation Driver's license - must have a clean driving record with an active driver’s license. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: -Core duties and responsibilities include the following... -Supports the Production Department and company as a whole by completing all tasks assigned in a time efficient and professional manner - Accurately assesses leaks, repairs and other issues and correct them in a cost effective and timely manner - Generates accurate bids and estimates from the field for new repairs - Reviews project sites for workmanship completion and adherence to company installation expectations - Maintains clear communication with all crews, employees, management, and clients - Maintains all vehicles, equipment and work spaces in use for this position - Aids in any task required by the Production Department or the company in regard to maintenance programs - Exhibits a high level of customer service and professionalism when dealing with any person(s) associated with company operations and this position. This includes other employees, property owners, city officials, crews, etc. - Operates with integrity and honesty at all times - Other duties may be assigned as needed. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; stoop, kneel, crouch, use ladders etc. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Employee must be suited to work on ladders and at heights more than 60ft. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
