Management Group is looking for a Porter to include the following duties: exterior buildings, stair ways, breezeways, common areas and other assigned duties. Grounds are to be cleaned on scheduled work days. Assure that all exterior sidewalks and stairs surrounding the buildings are free of hazards. Assist in maintaining all storage and maintenance shops. Candidate must be punctual and have a neat and professional appearance. Check the common areas, parking lots, trash enclosures and other related areas for cleanliness throughout the day. Operate a blower and high pressure hoses to assist in cleaning walkway, stairways and parking areas as assigned. Assist in trashing out vacant apartments, including large pieces of furniture, as assigned. Must have transportation. Assist the management staff with posting of notices and marketing materials. Qualifications: 1. No previous maintenance experience is required for this position. 2. The ability to frequently lift, carry, push or pull 25 to 50 lbs. in a correct and safe manner. 3. Physically able to climbs numerous flights of stairs on a daily basis. 4. Stooping: Frequently bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist, requiring full use of the lower extremities and back muscles. 5. Kneeling: Frequently bending legs at knees to come to rest on knee or knees. 6. Crouching: Frequently bending body downward and forward by bending legs and spine. 7. Reaching: Frequently extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction. 8. Handling: Frequently seizing, holding, grasping, turning or otherwise working with hands. Fingers are involved only to the extent that they are an extension of the hand.
