General Contractor looking to hire a Quality Control Supervisor. Projects are residential 2-4 units on the South Side of Chicago. Duties expected to be performed by the candidate are the following : - Visit each ongoing job site every day (Mon-Fri) and assess the daily work performed ; - Submit a daily report on each job site ; - Make sure that all the work performed is done according to city codes. The candidate would need the following requirements : - Extensive knowledge and experience in construction and city codes ; - To have a valid driver’s license and transportation to go from job site to job site ; - To have a computer and internet to send the daily reports in ; - To have solid references and verifiable construction experience. This position is IDEAL for a retired or semi retired construction professional. Weekly compensation based on a $25,00 hourly rate. 25-30 hours available per week, Mon-Friday.
