We are looking to fill an entry-level computer repair technician position. We are a computer repair company that has been in business for over 10 years. The Laptop Technician will be responsible for providing computer diagnostics and repairs. If you have a love for technology and are looking to advance your skills in computer hardware repair, this is the position for you. Responsibilities: • The technician will perform tasks such as diagnosis, repair and maintenance. • Manually examine and repair computer hardware and peripheral components. • Troubleshoot computer systems both hardware and software. • Take apart and re-assemble computer components and parts. • Analyze failed equipment according to established methods or procedures and determine whether equipment is repairable. • Resolve hardware technical issues within time schedule and provide the break/fix solution using established methods. • Work closely with support staff and other techs to produce best possible repair solution. Other Personal Skills Required for Laptop Repair: • Organization and Prioritization - This job requires the ability to clearly organize and categorize work priorities to complete your work. • Critical analysis and complex problem solving - This job requires the ability to critically examine complex problems by analyzing information to effect a solution. Physical Demands: • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to sit for long periods of time. • Employee must be able to lift objects approximately up to 50lbs A+ Certifications a plus
