Warehouse Manager and Event Lead

A Posh Production is looking for a full-time warehouse manager and event lead for immediate hire. You will be responsible for managing the warehouse along with other warehouse managers, prepping the equipment for events, and then also participating in a team (occasionally alone for some small jobs) in setting up and tearing down the equipment necessary to provide the services we offer. We primarily work in banquet halls, downtown and suburban hotels, concert venues, and private parties. This job is Monday - Thursday, and then weekends when we have events. We have events nearly every weekend, year-round. From April - December we are very busy with events, often 4-10 per weekend. From January - March, we average 1-3 events per weekend. Expect to earn $700-$950 per week during busy season and $550-$700 per week in the slow season. Expect to earn $35,000 your first year. Pay raises on event pay and hourly pay increase yearly - expect to earn $38-40k your second year. Events that you would be expected to work include: delivery and setup of pipe and drape, different kinds of room lighting, vinyl dance floor wraps, Chinese Hanging lanterns, cafe lighting, special effects, sound equipment, etc. Job requirements: You MUST live within 15 miles of Elmhurst. You MUST be able to lift up to 75 lbs (regularly) and be comfortable working on ladders for extended periods (1-3hrs). You must own a reliable vehicle and be comfortable driving a company work van. You must own a cell phone and it must have access to navigation. You must be available to work almost every Saturday, year round, and a few Sundays as well.
