Custom residential home builder located on the north shore is currently seeking a focused, professional Estimator/Bidding Manager with exposure to the residential home building environment. Candidate must have residential construction experience.
Qualifications:
• Proficient with all technical building skills
• Previous experience working on new construction and remodel projects
• Possess strong computer skills
• Intermediate experience with MS Word, Outlook and Excel is a must
• Highly organized
• Superior communication skills
• Portray a positive attitude and demonstrate professional customer service skills
• Ability to work under pressure; work with multiple deadlines and within a team environment to best achieve excellent and timely results
• College degree or equivalent field experience
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Read and thoroughly understand blueprints, and send out Request for Bid packages
• Ability to estimate entire plan
• Perform take-offs
• Interact directly with vendors and suppliers during bid process
• Verify and confirm scope in bid documents matches plans and specifications
