Job Title: Finance and Insurance Manager Stevinson Hyundai of Longmont is seeking a Finance and Insurance Manager to join their Sales team. Previous dealership Automotive Finance and Insurance Manager Experience required. Compensation: $80,000-$160,000 annually (wage is calculated based on commission sales volume achieved) Work Hours: Full Time schedule as defined JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY Controls the Sale: The F&I manager’s job is to secure each sale and ensure that every vehicle sold is delivered. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES β€’ Protects gross profit by arranging financing so outside sources do not have an impact on selling margins. β€’ Generates additional income through the sales of vehicle service contracts, GAP coverage and maintenance plans. β€’ Understands and complies with federal, state and local regulations that affect the new- and used-vehicle and finance departments. β€’ Ensures collection of all finance and insurance fees. β€’ Handles all rate quotations. β€’ Responsible for timely funding of all Contracts in Transit. β€’ Responsible for all paperwork involved with the sale of the vehicle, including obtaining customer signatures and securing payoff and insurance information. β€’ Establishes and maintains good working relationships with several finance sources, including the manufacturer. β€’ Completes paperwork necessary for vehicle sales and leases in a timely and efficient manner. β€’ Conducts business in an ethical and professional manner. SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS β€’ High school diploma or general education degree (GED) in addition to 2-8 years related experience and/or training. β€’ English language required (bilingual is a plus) β€’ Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports and correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization. β€’ Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate and percent. β€’ Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations. β€’ Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. β€’ Colorado State Vehicle Sales license. β€’ Valid Driver's License β€’ Must maintain Hyundai required certification and testing as released and required from manufacturer. β€’ Typically works in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone, mobile phone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties. β€’ Contact with the public in office environments may risk exposure to contagious disease or contact with domestic animals.
