Description

I improvise and play from chord charts, not sheet music. There are plenty of other piano players who are good sight readers if that’s what you need. I’ve been improvising for decades but haven’t read music regularly since I was in school. I want to accompany more so I’m looking for solid singers who need some backup. If you have lead sheets for your tunes I can start familiarizing myself with them. I’m always interested in writing collaboration if you compose original music. Or we can stick to jazz standards, popular tunes, musical theater, worship music, holiday songs, Disney stuff, or whatever else gets you excited. I’m also looking for a versatile drummer/percussionist to add to the mix or get into some other combos with. Getting into the studio and out playing live later this year is the goal after finding folks and rehearsing.
