Your primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Inspect and fully paint vacated apartments assigned • Texture and prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, knockdown and removing old paint • Fill nail holes, cracks, and joints with putty, plaster, or other filler • Tape, float, and texture walls and ceilings. • Completes required forms regarding paint assignments • Restore apartment to "market ready" status as it relates to drywall repairs, caulking and painting. • Communicate with Service Manager concerning apartments that need painting in order of priority • Work with service team to complete their functions in the make-ready process • Report when paint and supplies are low to avoid depletion • Requires flexibility and understanding that all maintenance staff may be required to perform duties outside their normal area of expertise to meet the mission and goals of the community • Other duties could include working in other areas of the maintenance department to provide support during absences or shortage of staff in other trades or to perform duties associated with light construction projects
