Coating Applicators/Water Proofers J. R. Johnson LLC is a well-established General Contracting and Restoration company located in Portland, OR. We are currently seeking Exterior Deck Coating Applicators and Water Proofers to join our team. Coatings Applicators should have experience with: Traffic and pedestrian coating systems; such as NeoGard, Masterseal, Sika, Carlisle, Tremco, and Dow Corning products Coating application techniques including; flashing integration, proper application/integration of reinforcing fabric, and joint and seam preparation Deck framing is a plus but not required Application and tooling of dynamic caulking joints Ability to produce high quality work in a production oriented setting Ability to read blue prints a plus Waterproofing applicants should have experience: With preparation techniques for concrete and wood substrates, for below grade water proofing application. This includes flashing integration techniques, application of reinforcing fabrics, installation of termination bars, etc. Applying Tremco GC250, Prosoco, Kemporol, PPMA’s or similar products Producing high quality work in a production oriented setting Reading blue prints is a plus If you feel that you have the necessary experience to apply for this position, please call us or come visit our office.
