Touchmark at Mt. Bachelor Village is Central Oregon's exclusive resort-style retirement community, enriching the lives of residents and their families through five-star hospitality, services and amenities. We are seeking to fill a part-time Laundry Aide. The hours are Sunday – Tuesday from 4 pm – 12:30 am. Do you take pride in the work that you do? In the process of doing that, they grow, have fun, and learn lifelong skills. As a Laundry Aide, you will enrich lives each day by processing laundry including table linens. The ideal candidate: Must be at least 18 years of age (required); Have a High School diploma or equivalent (required); Ability to read and write English in order to follow and give oral and written instructions (required); Ability to work in an environment with older adults; Be patient, tactful, and flexible when dealing with residents, family members, volunteers, visitors, staff members, and the general public; Must be able to complete required paperwork with a high degree of accuracy; Physically capable of turning, stooping, bending, stretching, moving equipment; Ability to lift up to 30 pounds; After receiving the appropriate training, must be able to operate standard equipment for laundry tasks; Willingness to perform a variety of repetitive tasks and work independently; Willingness to accept supervision and direction from supervisor and to work as part of a team; Ability to get along with co-workers, demonstrate integrity and express a positive attitude; If selected, candidates must be willing to submit to and receive favorable results on past employer and personal reference checks, criminal background checks, driving record (if appropriate to the position), and drug test.
