Linder Tire Service in Iowa City is looking for a dependable Tire Technician to join our team. The Tire Technician is primarily responsible for repairing and replacing passenger, light and medium truck tires and farm tires. What You'll Be Doing: • Mount, dismount, balance, repair and inspect vehicle tires to ensure proper functioning • Accurately diagnose tire conditions as needed to identify problems • Perform oil and filter changes • Safely test drive customer vehicles and company vehicles • Complete work with high level of integrity, honesty, accuracy, efficiency, and customer service What We Require: • High School diploma or GED • Valid driver's license and be insurable • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and vehicle manuals • Must be able to lift and carry up to 70 pounds • Must be able to perform physical activities generally associated with the tire technician including considerable use of arms and legs, kneeling, stooping, crouching, climbing, lifting and handling of materials. Employment is contingent on successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Record Check and Pre-Employment Drug Screen and Physical.
