U.S. Code Title 18 PART I CHAPTER 102 § 2101
18 U.S. Code § 2101 - Riots
U.S. Code...
(a)Whoever travels in interstate or foreign commerce or uses any facility of interstate or foreign commerce, including, but not limited to, the mail, telegraph, telephone, radio, or television, with intent—
(1)to incite a riot; or
(2)to organize, promote, encourage, participate in, or carry on a riot... shall be in violation of Federal Code..
In a show of support of the on-going riots, Rep. Maxine Watters (D-Ca.) left her home state, traveled to Minnesota and on Sunday addressed the rioters by encouraging them to make their voices heard following the fatal police shooting of Daunte Wright and ahead of as closing arguments in the trial of former police officer Derek Chauvin for the death of George Floyd.
“We’ve got to stay in the streets, and we’ve got to demand justice,” she urged the crowd, who earlier had been chanting: “No good cops in a racist system!” “F–K your curfew!” and “No justice, no peace!” Watters encouraged the crowds to get more confrontational. Watters inciteful words came after days of Burning, Looting, Mayhem & two National Guards shot down in a Chicago style drive by shooting.
"We've got to stay on the street and we've got to get more active, we've got to get more confrontational. We've got to make sure that they know that we mean business."
Approximately one year ago, this Liberal Democrat kicked off a summer of riots by using the same verbage in encouraging her followers (Democrats) to get more confrontational & get in their faces any time & any place..
Time for the D.O.J. to take action...
