Small Engine Mechanic for John Deere

I have a John Deere riding lawn mower that won't start. The battery is brand new (5 months old) and won't charge. The batter needed to be charged with a charger and never seemed to charge while the mower was on. Need this to be very reliable because we use it on my farm. If you can ACTUALLY fix this, I will pay. I will not pay for you to come over to 'tell me what the problem is'. Please inquire only if you have experience. Text only
