My elderly neighbor is going into a nursing home and he has no family. He has 2 small male dogs - one is black and 4 years old. The other is white and is 2 years old. The white one is a Maltese and the black one is a mixed breed dog. I have no idea on their shot status, he has no records and can’t remember when they went last. They are both neutered. I can get pictures if you are interested. He would prefer they go together as they are bonded. Full disclosure- they are barkers and you will always know if someone comes to your door. They haven’t had a lot of social interaction aside from him so they can be shy until they get to know you
