Description
Over 225 pregnant women and 150 fathers-to-be have participated so far, and they describe the experience as fun, enjoyable, and interesting!
*This study will take place in person with safety precautions, including social-distancing and wearing masks. Participants will come to the University of Denver Department of Psychology (we have free parking or we will cover your Uber ride) and receive $50 cash after completing an interview of about 2.5 hours.

University of Denver Pregnancy Research Study for Women and Men who are Expecting a Baby
Who can participate?
- Anyone who is pregnant and the fathers/second parents. Both individuals must be at least 18 years old, speak English, and plan to have their baby at Denver Health
Who is conducting the study?
- The University of Denver, Department of Psychology
- The Principal Investigator is Dr. Angela Narayan, Ph.D., L.P.
How long will it take?
Both parents will be interviewed, each for about two hours:
- Once during the 2nd or 3rd trimester of pregnancy
- Once 3-4 months after your baby is born
- Once 12-14 months after your baby is born
Will I be compensated?
Each parent will receive $50-$60 dollars after each interview.
