So, explain to me what the problem is. Most, if not ALL states now issue a non-driver license I.D. card through the DMV. So what can't those without a proper I.D. make their way to the DMV and get their I.D card? Am I to understand that no I.D. is needed for food stamps, welfare or section 8 hosing ? Since I have been self supporting since I was 17, I don't know the answer to that question. Here is another suggestion. For those who do file federal taxes. Why not allow the IRS to issue a photo I.D. at the time you file your taxes. Simply submit a photo and include it with your IRS tax preparation for that year. The photo says on file, you receive a laminated I.D card at minimal effort and NO expense to you. If someone is caught altering the federally issued I.D card, it becomes a federal crime. You have to wonder why the socialist party is against Voter I.D. but is touting the virtues of a "vaccination passport". If you can get one of those, then the other shouldn't be such a huge "raysiss" issue. UNLESS, you are planning on engaging in voter fraud, whch was rampant this past November.
