Full Job Description The warehouse cleaner described as the individual who will be responsible for cleaning in a warehouse-type environment. Position Duties and Responsibilities Works with Site Supervisor to ensure preventative maintenance is performed and equipment is in good working order and safe to use. Will be responsible for all cleaning while on duty Sweeping, scrubbing, windows, bathrooms Office cleaning, dusting, trash removal. Kitchen cleaning, microwaves, refrigerators, break rooms. Warehouse Cleaning Cardboard and Plastic Recycling Pallet Disposal Using compactor General cleaning in refrigerate areas Report supply shortage inventory to area manager Communicates daily with the Site Supervisor to ensure client expectations are being met as well as obtain any special instructions such as meetings or special events. May communicate with customer contact as needed. Ability to learn different types of motorized equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, walkie riders. Ability to work with diverse teams and lead by example. Ability to train and develop others to perform cleaning tasks in areas such as lobbies, break areas, lunchrooms, restrooms, offices, training rooms, hallways, and warehouse space such as aisles and walkways. This is a full-time, non-exempt position, eligible for overtime. Hours may vary depending on the projects assigned. Requirements: Commercial cleaning, distribution, warehouse, or other direct service industry (hotels, restaurants, retail, warehouse cleaning) Stand and walk with breaks for up to 8 hours per day & more Must be dependable and show up to assigned shift Ability to work 1st and 3rd shift Ability to work weekends Ability to work in 34-degree temps Lift up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis Flexibility to adjust plans when needed based on customer demands Job Type: Full-Time Pay: $10.00-11.00 per hour Job Type: Full-time Pay: $10.00- $11.00 per hour Schedule: Day shift Holidays Night Shift Weekends Overnight Shift We welcome the opportunity to meet you and discuss how our company would benefit your career-plus we are eager for you to join our team.
