2 abandoned male rats

2 very sweet boys found in front of a Petsmart inside a tiny carrier. I took them in to get them in a better situation but it is not financially feasible for me to keep them long term. They are extremely outgoing and friendly. I’m baffled as to why someone would give up these sweet guys. In lieu of rehoming fee, please provide proof of adequate housing and free roam area. New owner must demonstrate knowledge of caring for rats, such as, amount of free roam time necessary, appropriate bedding, common health issues, appropriate food, and appropriate treats.
