Support local fitness enthusiasts for a sweat-breaking, low-impact workout. Warrior Strength Presents Host: Megan is a local personal trainer looking to build a community of women and men who want to obtain and maintain a healthy and fit lifestyle. She has been a personal and group trainer for over 5 years and due to covid has had to become creative when hosting group classes. If you are looking for a great workout with a supportive group and host, this is the class for you! Saturdays and Sundays for the next two months can be your chance to get active and social during stressful times. WHAT TO EXPECT:Class: Each class is open to all levels of fitness: beginners, intermediate, and advance. There will have a warm-up, circuit training, and warm down/ stretch. After class: There will be time dedicated to discussing anything fitness or health-related with the host. Suggested topics include diets, meal planning, at-home workouts, personal training, and supplements. **When there is limited shade/ high temperatures tent and fans will be set up. What to bring: Yoga mat, water, leg/ small hand weights not exceeding 10 pounds (if you wish), towels. YOGA MAT IS REQUIRED Onsite purchases: If you do not have a yoga mat, towel, or water there will be a limited amount available for purchase. Please contact in advance for guaranteed items. Location: Anacostia Fields 2000 Nicholson St SE, Washington, D.C., DC 20020 Host will be visible at parking lot. COVID:All seats will be socially distanced with a predetermined marker. Hand sanitizer and cleaning wipes are provided. Please arrive with a mask on and keep the mask on until the host instructs you to remove it.
