Hello ! I'm a independent jazz recording artist looking for musicians to do gigs in the Reno and Tahoe area with. I'm specifically looking for a drummer, bassist, piano player and rhythm/lead guitar player; in other words a traditional nightclub quintet. The song material will be a majority of original songs with a small mix of jazz standards here and there throughout the setlist so in short this won't be a cover band. Rehearsals will be TBA once there are the chosen players and we can figure out a time and place that works for everyone in the band. The payment for the shows played will be split equally among the players; everyone will get an equal share of the payout. There'll be a simple band contract to ensure this before we would start playing shows. Shoot me a message if you're interested about the position!
