100 Years of Tango - Celebrating the Legacy of Astor Piazzolla with BridgeMusik and the Pedro Giraudo Trio BridgeMusik’s ReStart Rockland Arts presents "100 Years of Tango - Celebrating the Legacy of Astor Piazzolla with BridgeMusik and the Pedro Giraudo Trio". May 15, 3 PM concert (May 16 rain date). 2021 is the centenary of tango master Astor Piazzolla - legendary Argentinian musician who spent his formative childhood years in New York. This concert will feature encores of some of the beloved tangos which audiences have come to adore through BridgeMusik’s performances with Pedro Giraudo and his Latin Grammy-winning ensemble. BridgeMusik students will have the opportunity to perform alongside the professional musicians in several pieces. The concert will be socially distanced as mandated by COVID-19 safety protocols.
