Join Susan for a two-hour healing class on the Bhakti Center rooftop.
This class will will guide you through the different layers (koshas) of your body through asana, pranayama, meditation, and Prana Nidra practice. As you work throughout these layers, you will open space to tap into your true self - the atma - which can facilitate an experience of ease and joy.
The journey through the koshers begins with purifying the Annamaya Kosha (physical body) through asana practice, then connecting with the Pranamaya Kosha through guided breathing techniques. As the prana, or life energy, starts to flow more freely within the body, we can more easily quiet the Manomaya Kosha (our mind) by meditation practice and further connect with the Vijnanamaya Kosha (the layer of intelligence). All throughout the process, a gradual refining of the Anandamaya Kosha, the sense of “I am," will take place, allowing you to come in closer contact with your true nature. The practice will end with Prana Nidra, the practice of energetic sleep that allows for deep healing and rest.
