Our moving situation has sadly forced us to look for a new home to love our sweet girl, who’s been a faithful companion for 11 years. Indie is a spayed female Lab/Shepherd mix, with all the playfulness of a lab and the brains of a shepherd. She has great stamina for her age, but also loves nothing more than a long lazy nap, or a bone to chew on. She's been an inside/outside dog for 8 years, and strictly an outside dog for the last 3 plus years with the advent of children (and she’s done fantastically with the transition!). She'd be a good fit for a person or family who enjoys daily walks and has a fenced-in yard for her dog house. She can be left all day to herself, but of course, prefers being in the presence of her humans inside the home. She does great with older kids, as well as littles who can respect a dog’s space (ie, Indie’s *not* the type who enjoys babies crawling on her and tugging at her ears/tail). As for other dogs, she enjoys their company and gets along well with almost all of them, but often requires an initial warm-up (usually by way of a brisk walk with the other dog) to become trusted friends. Indie has a clean bill of health, healthy teeth and gums, and is up to date on her core vaccines (DHPPV/RV). If she’s anything like our other big dogs, she has another 4 plus years of love to give. We are happy to consider a trial period to see if she’s a good fit for you. **$50 rehoming fee.**
