We believe dogs are part of our families, so why not treat them as such! Yuppie Dog in Houston, TX is looking for daycare/playgroup attendants to join our 15 person strong team. We are located on 2203 Durham Dr. 77007Working with dogs is a lot of fun, but this job is extremely demanding and requires being able to understand dog behavior and have excellent dog handling skills.Ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, reliable, and must LOVE dogs!Responsibilities monitor dogs in play yard constantly walking and interacting with dogs monitor dog behavior to ensure safety maintaining a clean environment, yes it includes poop clean up! Qualifications able to lift more than 40lbs able to physically secure and handle all types of dogs be extremely energetic, outgoing, upbeat with a positive personality excellent communication skills and attention to detail a must! willing to work weekends and holidays. requires employee to constantly walk and/or stand entire shift able to give 100% attention to the dogs. Daycare shifts are Monday - Friday 6:15am- Noon & 2pm-7pm / Saturdays 9am-4pm / Sundays 8am-noonPart-time /Full-Time Positions availableExperience is preferred but not required.Hourly rate starts at $9 per hours, benefits available after 90day probation period.
