Build a sunshade in my backyard

I live in a casita with a fenced yard facing West. In the afternoon, esp in summer, it's in direct sun which heats the place considerably and makes the yard unusable. I'd like you to build a sun shade structure similar to the attached pic. There are some places to connect to on the house and fence, but you would need to engineer it so that it's not permanent (rental) and just tell me what to buy.
