Welcome spring with a refreshing music program including female composers as we pay tribute to the women figures in our lives! Women’s Orchestra of Arizona invites you to join us for a Mother’s Day Concert on Sunday, May 9, 2021, at 3:00 P.M. Put A “B” in Your Bonnet and enjoy the music of composers Bartok, Bruch, and Beach, as well as Taverna. We have a varied program in store for you -- folk dances, a serenade, waltz—and women among the composers. In addition, a highlight will be Chinese folk songs for zither composed and performed by our conductor Livia Gho. Come dressed in your best bonnet and the winner will receive a special prize! The concert will be held at Ascension Lutheran Church, 7100 N. Mockingbird Lane, Paradise Valley, AZ 85253. Required tickets are free and available at www.Eventbrite.com.
