Description

Hello, I have a wonderful, sweet, loving, 3-4 year old ferret that I am considering to rehome. I am a college student and have learned that I don’t have the time I should properly give her. And I can’t necessarily take on another ferret for her. She had a mate but he sadly passed so she might enjoy other ferret company. I would like to find her a local home so I could still see her at times, if possible. I might also consider a ‘dual-ownership’, so you could see how she does with you and later on adopt her fully. I might actually prefer someone that would like a “dual-ownership, co-ownership’, I think I’d feel more secure for her that way. She was potty trained but she sometimes makes accidents when she doesn’t know where her litter box is or if she can’t find it right away. If her litter box is always clean she tends to use it more often. If it gets left and is very dirty she will go to the bathroom outside of it. She loves blankets and stuffed animals. She also likes toys with feathers. She is very rambunctious and playful and loves to run around and hop/dook. She currently lives in a 3 story ferret nation cage but I have 2 double story ferret nation cages. I just don’t have room for all of them. So one is put away in my garage. She would come with all her stuff: her cages, hammocks/beds/blankets, toys, her remaining food supply, dishes that she can’t tip over, etc. She is picky with her litter in her litter box and will only use the litter pellets made for small animals from petco or pet smart. You will have to use that if you want her to use her litter box, and it is pricy, if I’m being honest. She won’t use the paper pellets. And she can’t use the pee pads because she chews those so I refused to keep using those, for her safety. She does have a rehoming fee to ensure a proper home and environment for her. I don’t have something on the top of my head so send me offers if you’d like to to consider her. All I honestly want is the best for her. I have however invested a lot into her and her well being. Thank you
