Guitarist / Bass Player Available for Amazing Original Projects

Hello! I'm a 36 year old white male. All ages, races, orientation LGBTQ+ is fine with me. I play guitar, bass and Bass VI. I've got a couple of projects I'm currently but like to keep busy. Please note: I'm not interested in any cover bands. I would say my playing across the board is about a 5 out of 10. I cannot solo or shred to save my life. I can make riffs and write songs all day. I cannot slap on bass nor want to. I play with a pick on everything. As far as working in groups go: I'm usually a very quick study. If you know the chords or the general notes you are hitting, I can make a part work and I tend to work very fast. I don't like mull over parts and get hung up on small details - that stuff can come in time. If I play with a group for 2 months and we have weekly practices, I would hope we would have 8-10 songs finished by that time. I'm looking to play local shows - I expect nothing in return. I'm not a hired gun that wants payment but would rather be a part of something collectively. That being said, I would like to be playing shows twice a month if not more. I have gear and transportation. I live in Reading and would prefer to stay local but would be willing to go to Lancaster, Allentown or Pottstown for the right project. Things I gravitate towards: Post-Punk Goth Surf Rock No Wave New Wave Deathrock Shoegaze Weird Soundtrack Stuff (like early Goldfrapp or Broadcast / John Barry stuff) Punk (no pop punk - DIY punk is fine) Interesting Alternative Stuff Not interested in anything sounding similar to Disturbed or Trapt or Pearl Jam or Staind. Please no Nu Metal or Fat Neck sounding vocals. Thanks!
