Growing Lawn Care Business: Hi, I operate a lawn Care /Property Maintenance business that has been substantially growing for some time now. I started out alone, but I am at the point where I need to add my first team member. I plan on adding up to four team members this year. The first one onboard will most likely be the next crew leader when the time comes. Professional Appearance: All team members must be able to maintain a professional appearance and attitude as they will often be working in public places, and represent the business. Much of my business is acquired by onsite "walk up" individuals. Therefore, all of us must possess a friendly helpful demeanor, and be ready to represent the business in a salesmanship manner. Lawn Care & Other Jobs: The majority of jobs will be standard lawn mowing. However, there are many other tasks that we will be performing. These tasks include hedge trimming, Rain gutter cleaning, power washing, window washing, and more. All team members must be able to do physical labor on hot or cold days, and willing to learn new tasks. Compensation: Pay will begin at $13 per hour. This is a probationary wage, and will last no longer than 30 days at most! Wage advancement depends on job performance. If you're happy with a minimum wage job, you won't make it as a team member. I want to advance your wages as quickly as possible. Pay advancements will be dependent on your ability to perform the required duties. I fully intend to pay my crew top wages as soon as possible. Hours: Team member position will start at part time, and increase as needed. Hours are between approximately 8:30 am and 6:00 pm. It is helpful if you can work weekends when needed. Equipment you will operate: • Hand tools • Hand held blower • Gas push mower • Light weight string trimmer • Heavy duty string trimmer • Stick edger • Heavy duty backpack blower • Lawn tractor Other equipment: • Hedge trimmer • Pole saw • Backpack sprayer • Pressure washer Requirements: • Pride in your work • Valid driver license • Punctuality • Honest and ethical • Professional demeanor and appearance • Physical labor on hot or cold days • Wear a simple uniform • Nonsmoker at work • Team player Perks: • No COVID mask required!
