Found: male dachsund at tehama fairgrounds

Found a male dachshund at Red Bluff Round-up at Tehama County Fairgrounds. We are leaving soon and do not know what to do with him. We are afraid to just leave him as he is small and easily could be run over. Please if you are his owner or know someone who is missing a dachshund contact us immediately so we can get him home. We live in San Luis Obispo county and would not feel right leaving without ensuring his safety, nor would we feel good about taking him with us. He has a collar with no tag so Im pretty sure he belongs to someone. Very sweet. Appears very lost. Been wandering the contestant camping area since friday. Being the weekend no shelter or vet open to check for microchip. Please contact asap. Thank you....
