The worst president in modern history
News
Washington DC
Description
Herbert Hoover had been president for 6 months when the stock market crash of 1929 occurred. He was not labeled the worst president in history for causing the crash, he was labeled the worst for the things he did and did NOT do to help the country recover from the crash. His presidency has always been labeled a dismal failure. During the Roosevelt administration safe guards were put in place to prevent a crash from destroying the economy again. From that era forward things went well until Richard Nixon took office. Richard Nixon was not a leader, was NOT a puppet but was easily manipulated. The era of the radical America hating democrats in congress was up and running and Nixon bent over backwards to give them everything they asked for. Nixon did not want any one thinking or speaking ill of him so he gave the democrats OSHA, EPA, and hundreds of other liberal social programs that drove the economy into the dumpster. Nixon's advisors talked him into mandating wage & price controls, causing gas and food shortages. For this Nixon earned the title of worst president letting Hoover off the hook. The economy continued to flounder after Nixon then Jimmy Carter promised to fix the economy and make government smaller. Under Jimmy Carter inflation continued to climb, wages continued to stagnate, interest rates shot up to 30% on home loans! as much as 40% on auto loans. Government grew faster than anytime since WWII. Carter snatched that title away from Nixon real quick and left a failure. When it seemed like no one will top Carter along came George W. Bush. Starting 2 wars he had NO intention of ending or winning just to make Halliburton and the Saudis rich. Anyone remember $5 a gallon gas? Now we come to Dementia Joe, the illegitimate white house occupant, the puppet president. My money is on dementia Joe to own the title for all time. He has surpassed Nixon & Carter and is going to eclipse his puppet master the gay muslim Obama any day now.
