For over twenty-five years, our company has been focused on supplying high quality furniture at discounted prices with outstanding customer service. Mattress Mike delivery drivers are responsible for representing the company while completing full-service white glove delivery to our Santa Barbara clientele. Drivers must be professional, communicative, and team oriented with exceptional talent in problem solving and critical thinking. This position requires physical strength and the willingness to adhere to company protocol and safety procedures. Job Type Availability: Full Time, Part Time Hours of Operation: Thursday-Saturday: 10am-6pm Sunday-Wednesday: 10am-4pm (Currently closed Tuesday and Wednesday due to COVID-19.) Responsibilities: • Safely move, lift, and assemble large/bulky furniture commonly weighing over 60lbs. • Utilize common moving tools: box cutters, cargo straps, dolly carts, floor sliders, hand tools, moving blankets, packing tape, power drills, etc.. • Maneuver small to medium two-axel vehicles. • Establish and maintain positive-professional relationships with customers and employees. • Meet Mattress Mike’s uniform and personal hygiene requirements. Qualifications: • Have a valid California Driver’s License. • Have and maintain a clean driving record. • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented. • Must have a positive and personable attitude. • 18 years or older. • One year of driving experience. • One year of moving experience (preferred).
